Job Description:
  1. Survey Control & Benchmarks: Establish, verify, and protect project control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference levels across the farm, factory site, and infrastructure corridors.
  2. Topographical Surveys: Carry out surveys for farm blocks, roads, drains, canals, reservoirs, pump stations, pipelines, power routes, factory platforms, buildings, workshops, camps, and yards.
  3. Setting Out: Set out grids, boundaries, centerlines, levels, gradients, foundations, column lines, culverts, trenches, embankments, pipeline routes, canals, road alignments, and equipment plinths.
  4. Farm Development Support: Support land clearing, leveling, ripping, cultivation, pivot layouts, irrigation command areas, access roads, and drainage planning with levels, profiles, cross-sections, and area measurements.
  5. Factory Construction Support: Verify excavations, platform levels, foundation positions, anchor bolt locations, finished floor levels, drainage falls, utility corridors, and as-built locations for civil and industrial works.
  6. Measurement & Quantities: Measure earthworks, roadworks, trenches, drains, canals, platforms, fill areas, and completed works for progress reporting, payment checks, and quantity verification.
  7. Data & Drafting: Prepare contour plans, setting-out sheets, level records, field sketches, coordinates, layout plans, as-built drawings, survey reports, and handover records.
  8. Contractor Coordination: Check contractor survey work, confirm latest drawing revisions, identify discrepancies early, issue clear field instructions through the engineer, and support joint inspections.
  9. HSE Compliance & Quality: Maintain instrument calibration records, protect survey controls,work safely around heavy plant, traffic, excavations, heat, dust, and remote field risks, and escalate unsafe conditions.
