Job Description:
  1. Water Infrastructure & Civil Works: Oversee canal abstraction interfaces, pump station civil works, suction and delivery pipework, filtration foundations, mainlines, sub-mains, valve chambers, thrust blocks, and drainage protection.
  2. Design & Technical Review: Review construction drawings, hydraulic assumptions, BOQs, specifications, method statements, and construction programmes before field execution.
  3. Pipeline Supervision: Supervise excavation, pipe bedding, pipe laying, jointing, welding/electrofusion coordination, backfilling, concrete works, chambers, and anchor blocks.
  4. Subcontractor & Resource Management: Manage civil, pipeline, and mechanical installation subcontractors; approve daily work plans, verify site resources, and resolve field constraints.
  5. System Verification: Verify that the installed network achieves required flow, pressure, pressure-loss allowances, pump performance, and operational flexibility for center-pivot systems.
  6. Quality Assurance & Handover: Coordinate pressure testing, flushing, leak detection, pump trials, system commissioning, as-built records, and technical handover to the operations team.
  7. HSE Compliance: Promote safe execution of excavations, heavy lifting, canal-side works, confined-space activities, pressure testing, and adherence to environmental/occupational safety standards.
  8. Reporting & Project Controls: Track programmes, milestones, critical path activities, quantities, cost risks, variations, and subcontractor claims in coordination with the Project Manager and QS. Maintain daily site logs, inspection requests, and test records.
